When I Grow Up… An exhibition at Brighton University’s Grand Parade running from November 19th to December 10th. Great poster design by Charlie Sheppard.

You’ll be able to see a collection of works by year 6 pupils at St.Luke’s Primary School and a large collection of work for all 3 years of Graphic Design and Illustration. With the sale of an A4 zine at the exhibition to raise money for Children in Need.
We are also holding a large (2.4m x 3.6m) sponsored 24 hour drawing next Tuesday & Wednesday, The outcome of that will be displayed at the exhibition along with a time lapse film.

Having been to a couple of BRAG’s shows in the past I can definitely recommend that you get yourself along to York Place Studios this month to snap yourself up a screenprint from some serious local talent.

Johnny McCulloch, one of the brains behind the brilliant Freakshow sent me this lovely video made by Hove’s The Progress Film Company of them setting up the exhibition. Worth 3 minutes and 8 seconds of your time!

Brighton Freakshow is a carefully hand selected illustration show exhibiting some of Brighton’s finest image making talent. Appropriately housed in the epic setting of St. Peters Church, Freakshow will form part of the 2010 Open House Festival in Brighton, UK. The exhibition is curated by Johnny McCulloch and Mega Munden.
The Exhibition will run every saturday throughout May between 10am and 5.30pm.

Geisha Arts is an exciting innovative & unique artist-led exhibition space for sought after contemporary & cutting edge urban artists based at the Madame Geisha venue. The space is also a location for seminars and workshops with a cool organic café located next to Brighton beach.
